We’re pleased to announce that we are reintroducing the pull tab into our Taurus wireless detectors. The change is effective for the devices starting with production date week commencing by August 4th, 2025, it is datacode 32/2025.
As you may recall, we previously communicated a temporary adjustment due to a sourcing issue with the insulating tab material. During that period, batteries were supplied within the product box rather than pre-inserted into the device.
With the resolution of the sourcing issue, the pull tab will once again be pre-installed, restoring the original pre-installed batteries & pull tab format for the following product codes (and their OEM cross-listed variants):
- TW-DT-01 Taurus Class P Heat Detector
- TW-DO-01 Taurus Dual Optical Smoke Detector
- TW-DM-01 Taurus Multi-criteria Detector
This change will simplify installation and handling, particularly for air shipments, while maintaining the same high standards of product functionality and safety.
