'FIREX 2011 EXHIBITION UK'
Argus Security successfully previewed the next generation of wireless fire detection technology at the recent Firex 2011 exhibition in Birmingham UK.
The ‘ANDROMEDA’ system is based on a LON bus network:

- LON segments can be connected together using repeaters to create a big network
- A maximum of 255 system can be connected together
- Every system is capable of monitoring more than 2000 devices (with 127 nodes on the segment)
- In total the system can support more than 500.000 devices on a unique network

- LON bus up to 2,7Km (127 nodes without repeaters)
- LON bus 13.5 km (with repeaters)
- Vega loop up to 6Km (240 devices)
- Wireless system up to 4Km (768 devices)

'WIRELESS PRODUCTS RECEIVE LPCB APPROVAL'
We are pleased to advise that the wireless translator module, optical, multicriteria and thermal detectors have been successfully tested and approved by LPCB.
Copies of the certificates are available for download from our web site.
'1000 Series Conventional detectors receive VdS approval'
The new technically advanced 1000 series conventional detectors have been succesfully tested and approved by the VdS agency in Germany. This certification further endorses the independent approval from LPCB UK.
